A guarantee is only worth what it says. Here is what ours covers, what it does not, and how long to wait before it applies.
If the treated nest is still active after treatment has had time to work, we return and re-treat at no further charge.
Allow 24–48 hours first. Returning foragers during that period are expected — they are carrying treatment into the nest, which is how it works.
Saying what a guarantee does not cover is the part that makes it a guarantee rather than a slogan.
| Time after treatment | What to expect |
|---|---|
| First few hours | Increased visible activity — normal |
| 24 hours | Activity noticeably reducing |
| 48 hours | Little to no activity in most cases |
| 3–5 days | Occasional stragglers possible |
| Still real ongoing traffic after 5 days | Contact us — the 30-day guarantee applies |
The most common reason for a callback is understandable impatience — especially where there are children waiting to use the garden again. It is worth waiting the 48 hours, because during that time the returning wasps are doing the work.

In each case we return and re-treat. That is what the guarantee is for.
The two are the point of the offer. A fixed price means the figure does not change once someone is standing at your property. A guarantee means the figure covers the outcome, not just the visit.
A price that changes on arrival and a treatment that needs paying for twice are the two things people actually worry about with wasps. We removed both.
Nests treated in September are larger and further developed than the same nest in June, and are the most likely to want a second look. It is one reason not to leave a known nest until the end of the season — particularly in a garden children use.
A fixed price with a guarantee means a wasp job can be authorised without a quotation stage and without a second invoice if it needs revisiting. Where there are children at the property, being able to instruct immediately is worth something in itself.
30 days from the date of treatment, for the nest we treated. A different nest is a new job.

24–48 hours. Returning foragers during that period are expected and are carrying treatment into the nest.
The rest of the garden is usually usable straight away, but keep everyone away from the entry point until activity has stopped. Ask us on the day if you are unsure.
No. A different nest is a different colony and a new job.
No. Foraging wasps are not evidence of an active nest.
A very large late-season nest, a second nest not visible on the first visit, an entry point serving two nests, or a nest deeper in the void than expected.
No, where the guarantee applies.
The address, the treatment date, what you are seeing and at which point. A short video from a safe distance helps.
Fixed price on the phone, fixed price on the invoice, and a return visit if the nest needs it.
