Cookie Policy

What this website stores on your device, what it does not, and how to change it.

๐Ÿ“… Last updated: 31 August 2026 ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง UK PECR & UK GDPR

The Short Version

This website does not currently set any cookies of its own. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag and no cross-site tracking.

That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner. Under UK law consent is required for non-essential cookies โ€” and there are none to consent to.

What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognise your device on a later visit. The same rules apply to similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and device fingerprinting โ€” the law cares about storing or reading information on your device, not about the specific technique.

What This Website Stores

PurposeWhat is storedConsent needed?
Website functionalityNothingโ€”
Analytics / measurementNothing at presentYes, if added
Advertising / remarketingNothingYes, if added
Your cookie choiceA single record of your preference, if we ever askNo โ€” strictly necessary

The enquiry form does not set a cookie. What you type is sent to us when you press the button and nothing is stored on your device.

Why There Is No Banner

Cookie banners exist because the law requires consent before non-essential cookies are set. Where a site sets none, a banner asks permission for nothing and trains people to click through consent requests without reading them.

We would rather not add a pointless click. If that changes, the banner appears โ€” and nothing is set until you have chosen.

The consent mechanism is already built into this website and dormant. If analytics are added later, it activates on its own: the tracking script stays blocked until you make a choice, Reject is as easy as Accept, and your decision is remembered.

Google Fonts โ€” Worth Knowing

This site currently loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. No cookie is involved, but your browser does request files from Google's servers, and your IP address forms part of that request.

We are telling you because it is a transfer of personal data even though it is not a cookie, and a cookie policy that stayed silent about it would be technically accurate and practically misleading. The fonts can be served from our own server instead, which removes the transfer completely, and that is the intention.

Third-Party Links

Some links on this site go elsewhere โ€” WhatsApp, and our web developer. Once you follow a link, that site's own cookie and privacy practices apply, not ours.

If We Add Analytics Later

If we do, this is what will happen:

Controlling Cookies Yourself

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings, and most offer a private browsing mode that discards them when you close the window. Blocking cookies may break other websites; it will not affect this one.

If a banner has been shown to you, you can revisit your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link, which appears in the footer of every page.

Changes to This Policy

If what we store changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will tell you when. We will not quietly start tracking and leave this page saying otherwise.

Frequently Asked

Cookie Policy FAQs

Does this website use cookies?

At the moment, no. This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising tracking. The only thing stored on your device is your cookie choice itself, and only if we ever ask you for one.

Why is there no cookie banner?

Because there is nothing to ask you about. UK law requires consent for non-essential cookies. Showing a banner for cookies that do not exist would be theatre rather than compliance.

Will that change?

Possibly. If we add analytics to understand which pages are useful, a consent banner will appear automatically and nothing will be set until you agree.

What is 'essential' storage?

Storage strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for โ€” for example remembering that you dismissed a cookie banner. This does not require consent under UK law.

Do you track me across other websites?

No. We do not use advertising pixels, remarketing tags or cross-site tracking of any kind.

What about Google Fonts?

This site currently loads its fonts from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. That is not a cookie, but it is a transfer of personal data and we would rather tell you than not. We intend to host the fonts ourselves, which removes it entirely.

How do I change my choice?

If a banner has been shown to you, there is a Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Until optional cookies exist, that link will simply tell you there is nothing to change.

How do I block cookies generally?

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Doing so may affect how other websites work, though it will not affect this one.
